Assemble's Half-Day Summer Camp @ Bellevue Elementary
Block B: Rising 3rd-5th Graders
We can't wait to have fun with S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) again this summer! This year's overarching theme is Fantastical Pasts, Utopian Futures! We'll use the framing of beloved ideas from fantasy and science fiction to inspire our imaginations, practice emotions and empathy, and see ourselves as heroes and problem-solvers.
We'll spend our first three weeks in a realm of fantasy inspired by histories from around the world. We'll become leaders of our own kingdoms and explore lore about magical creatures.
The last three weeks will be dedicated to sci-fi futures. We'll design our own exo-planet, explore space science, and work together to speculate on how we could build a future closer to utopia.
Note the new location, Bellevue Elementary!
Due to funding changes, camp tuition this year will follow a tiered fee structure:
Scholarship slots are limited and will require reporting your household income and the number of people living in your household. If you wish to register for one of the scholarship slots, please indicate so on the registration form. Then complete registration with the "Pay with cash or check" option. We will reach out to ask for income verification. If slots remain and if we approve your request based on your income, we will send you an invoice for the scholarship rate that you can then use to complete payment (if required) for camp.
Eligibility for free and 50% tuition is determined by income levels provided here: https://www.alleghenycounty.us/files/assets/county/v/2/government/economic-development/documents/cdbg/cdbg_home-2025-income-limits.pdf
Free tuition is available for families within the "very low income limits" or less, and 50% scholarship is available for families in the "low income limits" category.
Please contact Assemble if you have any questions.
