Kinks, curls, and coils! Oh my! Celebrating Black culture and identity.

 

Afrofuturism combines science-fiction, history, and fantasy to explore the African-American experience and aims to connect those from the black diaspora with their African ancestry. Join us at Afrofuturism: Hair Pride camp and learn about the CROWN Act, a vital piece of legislation, that would make it illegal to discriminate against someone at work or school over the way they wear their hair.

Material kit pick up scheduled for Jan 15 from 3pm-6pm.
